RM of Kellross’s story
The Rural Municipality of Kellross No. 247 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 13, 1909. Its name is a blend of two of the communities within it, Kelliher and Leross.
Today the RM surrounds the villages of Kelliher, Leross and Lestock, along with the localities of Enid and McDonald Hills. The municipal office is in Leross.
Visitors can learn about the area's past at the Kelliher & District Museum and the Kellross Heritage Museum, or at Touchwood Hills Post Provincial Historic Park.
